Tucker is a Theatre Choreographer, Director, and Educator. He works with both expressionist and formalist movement to create nuanced physical storytelling.

As the son of a musician and a human-interest writer, Tucker was brought up at the crossroads of music and narrative. He trained in many dance styles (Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hiphop, Modern, Lyrical, West African) at studios throughout Tampa Bay, FL and spent summers studying with The Sarasota Ballet and the Broadway Theatre Project before attending college.

At Northwestern University, Tucker studied Musical Theatre Choreography and Direction under the mentorship of Billy Siegenfeld, Jeffery Hancock, and David H. Bell, as well as Theatre for Young Audiences under the tutelage of Rives Collins. He received the George L. Siegel Scholarship in Music Theater, Aurand Harris Award for excellence in Children’s Theatre, and Excellence Awards for academic achievements and contributions to Northwestern’s Theatre program.

Over the past decade, Tucker has directed and choreographed a variety of musicals and plays, movement advised productions, and staged award-winning routines for recitals, cabarets, competitions, and Florida's International Thespian Society festivals. His students have received Top Honors and Critics’ Choice distinctions, the Dolly Van Parys Academic and Talent Scholarship, as well as Broadway Star of the Future nominations for Outstanding Lead and Supporting Performances and Design.

  • In 2020, Tucker served as the Assistant Artistic Director and Associate Program Director of the Broadway Theatre Project and became a full-time faculty member at Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton, FL, where he served as a Theatre Instructor, Dance Instructor, Director, and Choreographer.

Tucker is an energized collaborator and an advocate for making Theatre and Dance accessible to individuals of all ages and abilities. He strives to stage a myriad of human emotions and experiences, whether grandiose spectacles or everyday moments.
